Funny Occurrence That Happened Between VP. Osibanjo and Chief Arthur Ese At Alex Ekeume's Funeral Service

Chief Arthur eze and vice president Osibanjo at Alex Ekeume's burial

Very interesting situation at Alex Ekweme’s funeral.
Thus it was that at Dr. Ekwueme's funeral, a seat was reserved at the front for the Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Problem was, at 1030, thirty minutes to the start of the service, the Veep hadn't come. So up stepped a certain Chief Arthur Eze, to warm the seat.

As soon as Mr. Eze tried to sit down, the Veep's protocol prevented him and told him that this seat was reserved for better bums than his. And so the eternal Nigerian bigman bellow burst forth, "Do you know who I am?" A little intimidated by those billions, the Veep's protocol looked a little flustered, and unsure of what step to take. Then a DSS official stepped in. "We know who you are sir, but you can't sit down here." DSS guy moves the chair, then invites Mr. Eze to sit on the floor. Of course a title holder can't be seen doing such a thing, so Mr. Eze slinked away to find better accommodation.

But that he tried to bully his way into a seat reserved for the number two citizen, is a bird's eye view of one of the things that is wrong with Nigeria.

Small money go show, and go straight to the man's skull, and he loses all sense of decorum, then begins to throw his weight around. All you have to do is look around. Nigeria is full of people who don't know how to wait their turn, because they feel they are too big.
