A politician and economist from Nigeria is named Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
He serves as the Provost of Baze University. Sen. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is a Nigerian politician, academic, and businessman who is 46 years old.
Baba-Ahmed holds four degrees, including a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Maiduguri, an MBA from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Westminster, which he successfully finished in 2006.
Following his year of service at the University of Agriculture Abeokuta in Ogun State, he worked as an officer II for the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company in Lagos and as the projects coordinator for Baze Research and Data Services Ltd.
Before entering politics, he worked as a banking officer for First Bank of Nigeria Plc from July 1997 to December 1998.
He then returned to take the helm as managing director of Baze Research and Data Services Ltd from July 1999 to January 2003.
He is also alleged to own Baze University Hospital, which is the largest private hospital in Africa.
