Liverpool midfielder, Philippe Coutinho is set to make a comeback from a seven-week injury lay-off in Wednesday's League Cup semi-final first leg against Southampton at St. Mary's stadium, Manager Jurgen Kloop said on Monday.
The Brazilian playmaker has been absent since he damaged his ankle ligaments in Liverpool's 2-0 Premier League win against Sunderland on November 26, 2016.
Klopp also said that Captain, Jordan Henderson will return to first-team training on Thursday following his heel problem.
The return of both players is a boost for Klopp, who has just lost one of his key attacking threats - Sadio Mane - for a month because of international commitments.
